Purchased my 3 Crower Enduro 1.6 Ford Rockers new. 7/16" stud size. Have a full set of 16 then.
And Purchased a full set of new Crower Sure Lock Rocker Arm nuts ( Polylocks) 7/16" , Short 7/8 " tall to fit under stock valve covers.
About 1 week or so to Receive.

Have Mickey Thompson Olds V8 valve covers put away.
Taller than stock.
All should clear.
Real early set because the underside of covers have casted in 330ci - 425 Olds.
Places them made from 1965-67.
Have the Olds Rocket Logo also on them, Very Rare to find with them. Touch of Old School Kool.
I solved the mystery of what Rocker Arm studs to use on my 1965 Olds 425A engine.

Crane cams makes the special 3/8" -24tpi top x 3/8"-16 threads per bottom.

Have full adjustable valvetrain. No Factory Olds V8 had it.
Doing the Valvejob & assembly myself.

The Rod to Stroke ratio of an Olds 425 is identical to a Pontiac 400.
The Pontiac V8 uses the the same rod bearings as the 1948-53 Rocket 303 ci V8, Clevite 758 P.
Forged Rods and Forged Crankshaft.
Heads are High Velocity style respectable CFM airflow.
Has decent engine parameters the 425 Olds.
Well Id agree that the older 425 buick, is less than ideal, I'm not particularly impressed with the older nail head buicks but the newer 455 makes a darn nice performance platform
A headgasket let go on my Suburban.
Take time to fix.
The Burban is Big so I have to fix it outside .
I will do a valvejob myself on the SBC Heads myself while apart.
Have the heads Van Norman resurfaced too.
I think I can get it done in 1 day Grumpy my 1965 Olds 425 install into the '63 GP.
