The Engine and trans should bolt together but every aspect of Engine design is different so there might be some headaches switching Engine "family's"
Main thing is the oil pan, Nail heads and most Buick's up to to 1970 were normally center sump.
1971 and on were rear rear sump, and also I believe 1964 and newer A body Skylarks etc. were as well.
A nail head Skylark oil pan might be the answer if my post above is correct.
Then, once the engine mounts and exhaust manifolds are figured out, the rest should be doable.
