You forgot Turbo Phil in the Formula John.
He wants 100 psi Twin ganged 130mm X 4 Boost.

awesome headers! how mch does sending out a set of headers for coating cost? cheaper than buying them like that already?

Couple of hundred $ Phil.
Likely use a shop in Chicgao area to coat them.
Still $$$ ahead.
Same headers cost $850-900 from Hooker Coated.
Get picks up when they are here.

Anymore the availability of big tube headers dictate what can actually be built at low cost or not.

so whats the next build gonna be brian? the GP family sized hot rod? the Trans Am? if youre anything like m im sure youve got so much crap goin on its almost too much to even look at your own car projects.

Cleaning parts at work lately.
Cleaned the the 1971 GTO 455 #2 crankshaft today.
Cold chemical dip for 1 hour.
Into the Jet hot washer machine for 10 minutes.
Then into the Ultra Sonic cleaning machine. 40 gallon liquid capacity. Ran it for 3 cyles. About 2-1/2 - 3 hours while turning wrenches on a Caterpillar 3208 V8 diesel engine.
180-185 F Heated alkaline solution with anti rust agent.
Never touched the crankshaft with a cleaning brush.
Results are pretty amazing. Almost like NEW.

Upgrading the Rear differential in the Trans Am.
T/A is going to be dual purpose. From street warrior with top end speed over 180 mph
to drag race machine with 4.30- 5.38 rear diff gears.
Best way i know how is install one of my 1957-1958 Pontiac 9.3 rears.
Drop out 3rd member. Change gear ratio in under 20 minutes flat.
What the new MOSER Multi Leaf spring brackets are for. $60.00 free shipping from JEGS.
Test fitted. Perfect. LASER CUT 3-1/4" radius.

Since 2015 is a Definate Drag Racing Year & Street Racing Year thanks to the Hellcat Challanger & Hellcat 4dr Charger & Even Faster SRT 2014-015 Viper that is 512 ci of Normally aspirated Knock Them Off Kill them dead all......
SBC Is definate now Dead.
Only 3 GM Engines up to The Task.

WE Will take a look soon what Mickey Thompson did with factory production Pontiac V8's .
1959-1963.
NO AFTERMARKET BLOCKS OR ALUMINIUM HEADS EXISTED.

I Have lots of Cocks to knock off in 2015 with my 1970-1/2 T/A ALSO.
